Ms NSL. Praveena has done MBA (Marketing) from Rishi UBR PG College for Women, affiliated to Osmania University. She has 16 years of teaching experience, and is currently HOD of the Department. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Marketing from KL Deemed to be University, AP. Ms. NSL. Praveena is a trained Mentor by PMYUVA in Entrepreneurship. She is also a part of Global Jury in evaluating Business ventures by NEN – Wadhwani Foundation, New Delhi. She has presented many guest lectures for NSS Volunteers on ‘Arts, Culture and Management’. She has presented papers in international and national conferences. She is an active learner and an enthusiastic teacher. She has received ‘Best Teacher Award’ from Bharat Talents Association. She is also a recipient of ‘ART 4 PEACE International Award’ presented by an International Association, Beverley Hills, USA.Ms. NSL. Praveena was felicitated by Her Excellency, Dr.TamilisaiSoundararajan – Governor of Telangana on Dec 18th, 2019 for her contribution to NSS cell, JNTUH. She is the General Secretary for Rishi UBR Alumni Association, and coordinator for Rishi Cultural club, NSS club and Alumni club Committees. Her doctoral thesis is in Finance. The topic of her Ph.D is ‘Investor Behavior towards Mutual Fund Investment in Telangana State’. (JNTUH, 2019). She takes up subjects like Financial Accounting Analysis , Financial Management, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives, Financial Institutions Management services, Managerial Economics and Financial Accounting, etc. She has attended many FDPs and has presented papers in many national and international conferences on various topics like Quality Education, mutual funds, technical analysis, etc. She has published articles in various journals on topics like Exchange rate volatility and various aspects of mutual funds. She is into teaching, Management and organization behavior, human resource management, and managerial communication for the MBA program. She holds posts in the campus, in the cultural department, health care department, and the management committee. She is also a sole owner of a clothing business named Balaaji Ladies Corner, that she commenced in 2017 and continues successfully.
