Mrs. J Madhavi Latha

Mrs J Madhavilatha, is a postgraduate in commerce from Osmania University with more than 27 years of rich academic experience. She is a vivid academician with enriching experience in the field of education. She is a member of Governing Council of the institution. She has been associated with the institution since inception. Currently she is Academic Coordinator, College Academic Committee, Rishi UBR Women’s College. She administers all the academic affairs of the institution. She guides the Head of the Departments with the planning of curriculum delivery, subject allocation, time table preparation, conduction of exams, etc. She closely monitors the academic activities, invigilation and result analysis. She works in close association with R & D Cell of the institution.She also works with the Department heads to plan for add on programs for the students of MBA, B.Sc(Physical Sciences),. Com(Comp.Appl.) and BBA. She is actively involved with Internal Quality Assurance Cell. She is also the coordinator for Internal Complaints Cell and Grievance Redressal Cell. She has attended several Faculty Development programs and professional development programs related to research, Outcome Based teaching, Disaster Management, etc. She has published several papers like Performance measurement by cash flow relations-CMC, Impact of social Networking Sites, ECommerce Strategy, etc. She has also presented several papers in various conferences.

Mrs. NSL Praveena

Vice-Principal & Associate Professor, Department of Business Management

NSL. Praveena is the Vice-Principal and Associate Professor in the Department of Business & Management at Rishi UBR Women’s College, where she has been a committed member of the academic faculty for over 19 years. An alumna of the same institution, she brings a deep understanding of its values and a longstanding dedication to academic excellence.

She is about to submit her Ph.D. thesis in the Marketing domain. Her academic and teaching expertise spans to Marketing, Total Quality Management, Operations Management, and Strategic Management. Her contributions to the institution extend beyond the classroom—she is a part of the team representing the college during the NAAC peer team visit and continues to actively support quality assurance initiatives.

She collaborates with Heads of Departments in designing and implementing curriculum-enrichment activities, including add-on programs, technical and non-technical workshops, guest lectures, and student development initiatives. She currently oversees the NSS Unit, Entrepreneurship Cell, and IPR Cell, contributing significantly to the institution’s co-curricular and extracurricular engagement.

Her academic contributions include research publications in national and international journals, participation in academic conferences, and successful completion of four NPTEL certifications, earning one Silver and three Elite distinctions. She has also actively participated in several Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).Known for her innovative approach and commitment to holistic education, she continuously strives to create meaningful learning experiences that foster both academic and personal growth among students.

HOD-Business Management

Dr. Rama holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Andhra University and is qualified in both UGC NET and TS SET. With over 19 years of professional experience—17 of which are in academia—she brings a rich blend of industry insight and teaching expertise. She has presented numerous research papers at national and international conferences, focusing on diverse areas of Management.Currently, Dr. Rama serves as the IQAC Coordinator and actively contributes to the Primary Health Center and Mentoring Committees. Her dedication earned her the Best Coordinator Award from ICT Academy. She is also a proud member of the Hyderabad Management Association (HMA).Dr. Rama is certified by NPTEL in several subjects, including “Personal and Behavioural Finance,” “Outcome-Based Education,” “Sustainable Development,” and “Patent Drafting,” and has been honored with both Gold and Silver certificates. She has participated in various Faculty Development Programs covering contemporary and emerging topics. In addition to attending academic events, she has successfully organized webinars, conferences, and FDPs in the capacity of Coordinator and Co-Coordinator. Passionate about student development, she mentors students on finance-related projects and prepares them for academic and professional competitions. She also led an Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp under the DST-NIMAT initiative in 2018.

HOD-Commerce

Mrs. D S Ch S Harini holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Andhra University and brings over 15 years of rich teaching experience to the academic field. She has been extensively involved in teaching a wide range of programming languages, including C, C++, Java, and web design technologies. she is pursuing Ph.D. in Computer Science, further deepening her expertise and research in the field. She has actively participated in several workshops and webinars, including those organized by the National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development (NFED) and the South Asian Institute for Advanced Research & Development (SAIARD), such as the National Webinar on Research Insights and Publication Prospects. Additionally, she has conducted a webinar on E- Commerce. She currently serves as the Coordinator for multiple institutional committees, including the Timetable Committee, Examination Committee, and the Professional Body Membership Cell. Since 2013, she has been associated with Rishi UBR Women’s College, contributing significantly to its academic and administrative development. She presented research paper titled “A Study to Improve Security and Privacy in Mobile Devices Using Elliptic Curve Cryptography Technique Integrated with Machine Learning Algorithms” at the International Conference on Research Innovations and Challenges (ICRIC) 2025

Ms. A N Lakshmi Sudha, HOD of Department of Science holds master’s degree in mathematics from Osmania University. She is pursuing Ph.D. in Mathematics. She has over 15+ years of teaching experience. She has been teaching Mathematics for various disciplines like B.Sc., B.Tech and M.Sc. She leads the Sports Club in the college.She conducted webinar on Gender Sensitization. She attended various workshops, Webinars and FDPs like Inculcating Universal Human Values in Technical Education, Faculty Development Enablement Program organized by Infosys Ltd., Transforming Youth into Responsible Citizens, National Webinar on Research Insights & Publication Prospects and International Faculty Development Programme on Research Methodology, Salesforce Business Administration Specialist, Upgrading Teaching and Research skills in Management through Emerging Technologies, Professional growth and mental health, National Intellectual and Property awareness Mission, Teachers Conference on Empowering Educators, ICT Academy Stress Management, Fostering Innovation, Intelligence and Impact In Higher Education, Harnessing AI Tools: A Step towards Strategic Teaching approach.
